This photo slideshow maker turns your pictures into a video with music, free, in your browser. Add an opening title, put section titles between groups of photos, write a caption under any picture, and close with a thank-you card. The slideshow downloads as a 1080p MP4 with no watermark, and nothing is uploaded.

How to Make a Slideshow with Music

  1. Select Photos: Press Select Photos or drag your pictures onto the page, up to 100 of them. Drag the tiles to put them in order.
  2. Add a song: Press Add a song and pick an MP3, M4A or WAV file. Press Trim to keep only the part you want.
  3. Add text: Press the + Add text slide tile to make a title card, and press Move to start to make it the opener. Tap any photo and type a caption for it.
  4. Set the pace: The slider sets the seconds per photo, 4 by default. Leave Fit video to song on and the photos spread evenly across the music.
  5. Pick the look: Choose a transition such as Crossfade, Slide or Mix, and keep Gentle zoom on so the photos move a little.
  6. Make Video: Press Make Video and wait for the bar to fill, then press Download MP4. On a phone, Share sends it straight to WhatsApp or Facebook.

Title Cards, Section Titles and a Closing Card

A text slide is a slide with words instead of a photo. It takes a title and a second line, such as a name and a date, and sits anywhere in the order. Put one at the start as the opener, one before each group of photos, and one at the end that says thank you.

The background can be a blurred copy of the photo next to it, a plain dark card, or any colour you pick. Text slides get the same seconds, transitions and slow zoom as the photos. They feel like part of the show, not a pause in it.

A Caption Under Any Photo

Tap a photo and type a short line in the Caption box. It appears in bold white with a dark outline near the bottom of that photo only, up to 80 characters. It fades, slides or wipes together with the picture. Use it for a place, a name, a date or a line from a card.

Photos with a caption show a small Aa mark on their tile, so you can see at a glance which ones still need one.

Slideshows for Birthdays, Weddings, Memorials and School

A birthday slideshow works well with one text slide per year and a song the person loves. For a wedding, open with the names and the date and group the photos by part of the day. Fit video to song then sets the pace to the music.

A memorial or funeral slideshow usually plays on a TV or a projector, so keep the 16:9 shape. Give each photo 5 to 6 seconds and use Crossfade with Gentle zoom for a calm pace. Open with the name and the years, and close with a line such as forever in our hearts.

For school, sports or office events, section titles carry the structure, and captions name the people in each picture. Mix as the transition keeps a long show from feeling the same all the way through.

How Long Can a Slideshow Be?

Each slide can stay on screen from 1 to 10 seconds, in half-second steps. A single slideshow holds up to 100 photos plus your text slides. With 60 photos at 5 seconds and a half-second crossfade, the show runs about 4 minutes 40 seconds.

Long shows make big files. A 5-minute slideshow is about 265 MB at 1080p and about 60 MB at 720p. Pick 720p when it goes into a chat or an email, and 1080p for a TV or YouTube. The page warns you above 50 photos, because rendering takes longer on a phone.

Need a quick clip from a few photos with no text? The photos to video maker is the faster path. To make a short video from a single picture, use JPG to MP4. If some photos are odd shapes, the crop image tool fixes them before you start.

Where the Slideshow Plays

The file is a normal MP4 with H.264 picture and AAC sound at 30 frames per second. The 16:9 shape is 1920 x 1080 and fits a TV, a laptop, a projector, Facebook and YouTube. Switch to 9:16 for a WhatsApp status or an Instagram reel, or 1:1 for a square post.

Most TVs play an MP4 from a USB stick, which is the easiest way to show a memorial or birthday slideshow in a hall. Copy the downloaded file to the stick and open it from the TV's media menu.

Nothing Is Uploaded While You Build the Slideshow

Your photos, your song and the finished video stay on your own phone or computer. The slideshow is built inside your browser, and we never receive or see any of it. The page loads one small video library from our server when it opens, and that is the only thing that travels. Close the tab and the files are gone from it.

Because the work happens on your device, a long slideshow takes a few minutes on an older phone. Leave the tab open until the bar reaches the end, or press Cancel to stop early. If your browser cannot write MP4 files, the page tells you before you start and offers a WebM file instead.

FAQ

Is the slideshow maker free, and is there a watermark?
Yes, it is free with no sign-up, and nothing is stamped on the video. There is no limit on how many slideshows you make.

Can I add text to each photo?
Yes. Tap a photo and type a caption for that one picture. For a full-screen title between photos, use + Add text slide instead.

Can the slideshow run longer than the song?
Yes. Turn off Fit video to song and set the seconds yourself. The music repeats from the part you trimmed until the slideshow ends, and fades out over the last 1.5 seconds.

Does it work on a phone?
Yes, in the phone browser with no app. Pick 720p for a faster render on an older phone, and keep the screen on until the bar fills.

Can I play it on a TV?
Yes. Download the MP4, copy it to a USB stick, and open it from the TV's media menu. Use the 16:9 shape at 1080p for the sharpest picture.
