How to Turn a PNG Into Text
- Add the PNG: Upload it, drag and drop it in, paste a screenshot with Ctrl+V, or tap "Take a photo" if you are on a phone. JPG, WebP, and HEIC work too, if that is what you actually have.
- Crop and pick a language: Drag the crop box around just the text you need, rotate a sideways image, and choose up to 3 languages if the text is not in English.

Reading PNG Screenshots Accurately
A flat, evenly lit screenshot is the easiest image for this tool to read. The engine reads it twice, once as uploaded and once after a clean-up pass, and keeps whichever result it trusts more. Any number it is not fully sure about gets a second, closer look.
A photographed page still works, though it will not come out quite as accurate as a flat screenshot. The same clean-up pass straightens and sharpens it before the tool reads it.

Can I paste a screenshot straight in?
